Faith and Money
The Academy's longest course: twelve weeks, one practice every week, ending with a budget you actually use rather than a principle you agree with.
Syllabus
One week at a time. Tick a week when you have done the reading and answered the question in writing.
- Week 1
Unit one: knowing your money
Reading: Money course, weeks 1–3 — mindset, cash flow, banking
Before you track a single amount, what do you already believe money is for? Where did that belief come from?
- Week 2
Unit two: credit and debt
Reading: Money course, weeks 4–6 — borrowing, interest, repayment
Debt is described in Scripture as servitude. When is borrowing a tool, and when is it a master?
- Week 3
Unit three: building
Reading: Money course, weeks 7–9 — saving, investing, insurance
Saving for the future and trusting God for tomorrow are both commanded. How do you hold them at once without choosing?
- Week 4
Unit four: generosity and enough
Reading: Money course, weeks 10–12 — giving, contentment, planning
What would 'enough' look like in your life, in numbers, and who gets to decide?
